Cerler, located at an altitude of 1,540 meters, is one of the highest villages in the Aragonese Pyrenees. It has around 340 inhabitants and lies 6 km from Benasque, the municipality it belongs to, at the highest point of the Benasque Valley.
The old town center, where Borda Marianet is located, preserves the typical features of High Aragonese architecture.
Best known for its ski resort, Cerler has been declared a site of tourist interest. It is situated in one of the most rugged areas of the Pyrenees, in a privileged natural setting that allows visitors to admire the grandeur of the surrounding landscape, with peaks such as Perdiguero, Tucas de Ixeia, Posets, Monte Perdido, and Aneto. Its ski slopes are varied and offer excellent conditions for practicing the sport.
Adventure sports (rafting, canyoning, hiking, mountain biking, skiing…), excursions, visits to the more than 30 villages that make up the Benasque Valley, discovering High Aragonese architecture and exploring Aragonese Romanesque art... These are just some of the leisure options you’ll find in this part of the Aragonese Pyrenees.
