El Prau de Vidal is a house built in traditional stone and wood, inspired by the manor houses of the 16th century. It is located at the entrance to the historic center of the medieval village of La Puebla de Roda.
Its façade, with semicircular arches at the entrance, opens onto windows and terraces in each of the apartments, all of which are exterior and surrounded by a garden. The interior of the apartments reflects the care and dedication the owners have put into decorating each space.
There are three apartments: two for four people, Chinebro and Roure, and a duplex, Nuguera, for six people.
Chinebro and Roure: Located on the ground floor of the house, one has access from the communal garden, and the other has direct access from the street. Both have two double bedrooms with twin beds, an open-plan kitchen and living-dining room with fireplace, and a full bathroom. Each has an outdoor terrace with countryside views.
Nuguera: This duplex features two twin bedrooms, one double bedroom, a kitchen, living room with fireplace, a lounge with board games, and two full bathrooms.
Additional services such as cleaning, breakfast, and/or extra beds are available.
La Puebla de Roda is the capital of the municipality of Isábena, in the Ribagorza region. It sits on a small hill on the right bank of the Isábena River, at 841 meters above sea level. The village forms a distinctive and charming architectural ensemble, with a fortified street, arcades, and splendid heraldic façades.
The Isábena Valley, crossed by the river that gives the valley its name, offers a wide range of little-known tourist attractions that are well worth discovering. Landscape, art, gastronomy, and traditions are just some of the values that enrich the villages in the area. The thousand-year-old history of the County of Ribagorza has left its mark on many monuments, but without a doubt, two jewels from the 10th century still stand in this small geographical area: the Cathedral of Roda de Isábena and the Monastery of Obarra.
