Casa Lanau is a rural tourism offer located in Latorrecilla, a small village in the Pyrenees of Huesca, in the municipality of Aínsa-Sobrarbe. It’s a spacious, bright, well-equipped, and independent unit from the rest of the house — ideal for a holiday stay.
This is the apartment we offer you:
Living room with kitchen-dining area, two double bedrooms (two beds per room), and a full bathroom. A travel crib can be added.
Included: bed linen, towels, kitchenware, Wi-Fi, microwave oven, fireplace, and all necessary items for a comfortable stay.
The garden has a large porch with picnic tables, a barbecue, swings, and nearby, some chickens that don’t miss a thing. Occasionally, a friendly cat roams around. But usually, they are very cautious and want nothing to do with anyone — unless there are some chops nearby.
The apartment is completely independent, and we only share the large entrance gate to the house.
Only 10 minutes from Aínsa and Boltaña, and close to the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, and north of the Sierra and Canyons of Guara Natural Park, at an altitude of 700 meters.
It’s a privileged spot to explore the Pyrenees and its valleys, and to enjoy the tranquility of rural life.
Numerous activities can be enjoyed from this location, especially those related to nature and adventure sports.

Activities
Latorrecilla es una pequeña población agrícola, localizada en el municipio de Aínsa-Sobrarbe, a 700 metros de altitud, próximo al Parque Nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido y al Parque Natural de la Sierra y Cañones de Guara.
La casa tiene un Museo Apícola y oferta a sus clientes un recorrido por el fascinante mundo de las abejas apoyado en un amplio fondo fotográfico y colmenas de observación que permiten presenciar la actividad de estos insectos sin necesidad de protección especial.
Es un lugar privilegiado para conocer el Pirineo Central y disfrutar de la tranquilidad de la vida rural, cuenta con unos 35 habitantes, pero estando cerca de zonas de servicios como Aínsa o Boltaña de los que dista menos de 10 minutos.
La villa de Aínsa está declarada Monumento Histórico Artístico con un magnífico conjunto conservado en piedra con construcciones de distintas épocas desde la Edad Media hasta el s. XVIII.
En la Sierra de Guara se pueden visitar las cuevas con pinturas rupestres del Parque Cultural del Río Vero, practicar descenso de barrancos o visitar la Villa y la Colegiata medieval de Alquézar.
Una tierra de contrastes y de gran diversidad, dónde poder realizar todo tipo de actividades, culturales o deportivas (rafting, descenso de barrancos, escalada, btt...), o simplemente disfrutar del bienestar y la tranquilidad que la naturaleza nos ofrece.
