Susín Between Lights: An Experience for the Senses
Susín Between Lights is an experience that combines hiking, nature, culture, and gastronomy in the heart of Sobrepuerto, one of the most sparsely populated and magical areas of Aragon. We will walk the ancient paths full of history, where every step is a journey into the past, and witness an unforgettable sunset, paying tribute to those who lived here, keeping their memory and legacy alive.
For centuries, the villages of Sobrepuerto were full of life. However, in the 1950s, their inhabitants were forced to leave in search of a better future and improved conditions. Today, thanks to the efforts of their descendants and visitors, this territory beats with life again.
During the walk, we will see:
- The cobbled streets and panoramic views of the valley
- The Church of Santa Eulalia, part of the Serrablo Churches ensemble
- The stories and legends of Sobrepuerto and its former inhabitants
- While enjoying the sunset, we will taste a small packed snack with local products, evoking the customs of our ancestors.
As night falls, we will return under the moonlight, accompanied by the sounds of the forest and the silence of nature.
