El Betato Equestrian Center
We are located in Tramacastilla de Tena (Tena Valley), within the Ordesa-Viñamala Biosphere Reserve, a unique natural setting in the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees. Here, nature, freedom, and horses live together in perfect harmony.
We have over 5 hectares of land where our horses graze freely in lush green meadows. The center includes a reception area, a round training ring, and a shelter for our main stars.

We value freedom, which is why we have created distinct spaces for our horse friends. They can take shelter under the canopy or in the shade of the forest, feed on a wide variety of plants thanks to the land’s biodiversity, and cool off in nearby springs to improve blood circulation.

Visit our horses in their natural habitat, observe how they interact with each other and their surroundings, learn about their curiosity, how they think, and how they live in semi-freedom in the high mountains, surrounded by rivers, meadows, and forests.

Children’s experience (from 3 years old)
A fun and educational activity in a closed arena, with adult supervision. Children learn to care for and understand the horse.

Route through the Betato Forest (beginner)
Ride through a magical beech forest filled with legends and fairytale landscapes.
Price: €35 | Duration: 1 h 30 min
Mountain route (basic-intermediate level)
A complete experience through meadows and Pyrenean trails, no previous experience required.
Price: €55 | Duration: 2 h 15 min
Route to the Ibón de Piedrafita (advanced)
A spectacular ride to the glacial lake of Peña Telera. Untamed nature, breathtaking views, and Pyrenean wildlife.
Price: €100 | Duration: 4 h | Minimum 2 people
Experience details
- Advance booking required.
- Schedule: 9:00–11:00 or 19:00–21:00.
- Required gear: long pants, sports shoes, sunscreen.
- Minimum age: 8 years (exceptions upon request).
- No pets allowed.
Activities for children
For the little ones, we offer a safe and fun experience. They’ll learn about the world of horses through play and direct contact. If they wish, they can ride in a closed arena, always accompanied by an adult, then help remove the saddles and take the horses back to the field. A wonderful way to learn and enjoy as a family.
