General
Casa Gerbe is a rural guesthouse on the shores of the Mediano reservoir, a peaceful spot with a cozy atmosphere, ideal for enjoying your holidays in the Pyrenees.
It has 6 spacious double rooms, 3 of which have a double bed, and the rest are equipped with two single beds. It also offers a single room.
All rooms are fully equipped, with a complete bathroom, and offer unbeatable views of the Peña Montañesa, the village of Gerbe, or the Mediano reservoir.
There is a lounge with TV and fireplace, equipped with games, books, etc., a dining room where breakfast and dinner are served, a large terrace with tables and chairs with bar service, free Wi-Fi, and outdoor parking.
It offers an ornithological, geological, and botanical route, as well as a birdwatching hide in the surroundings of the house.
For mountain biking enthusiasts, there is a space to store, clean, and check bicycles, as well as information on trails from the Zona Zero Pyrenees BTT center.
Gerbe is located in a privileged natural setting, 5 km from Aínsa and very close to three protected natural areas: Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, the Sierra and Canyons of Guara Park, and the Posets-Maladeta Park.

Activities
Gerbe es una pequeña población rural, de unos 30 habitantes, situada a 6 km. de Aínsa, a 557 metros de altitud, su principal encanto reside en el paisaje y la arquitectura popular de su tres barrios: Cabo Lugar, Abadiao y Medio Lugar.
La situación le hace un lugar privilegiado para los aficionados a la ornitología, debido a la proximidad de varios habitats como pueden ser, la alta y media montaña, los pantanos, el somontano etc.. En los alrededores de la casa rural hay comederos, para así poder disfrutar de la presencia de las aves y conocer sus costumbres
Está situado en la Comarca de Sobrarbe, una comarca con un gran valor ambiental, tierra de contrastes y de gran diversidad donde se encuentran algunos de los paisajes más hermosos del sur de Europa de los que cabe destacar: Parque Nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido, Parque Natural de Posets-Maladeta y Parque Natural de la Sierra y los Cañones de Guara.
Esta comarca se caracteriza también, por la variedad de su patrimonio arquitectónico, que nos hace pasear a lo largo de la historia. Podemos visitar desde restos prehistóricos con dólmenes (en Tella, el de Pueyoril en Paúles de Sarsa...) y pinturas rupestres dentro del Parque Cultural del Vero, hasta el Conjunto medieval de Aínsa (a tan sólo 5 Km.), Monumento Histórico-Artístico Nacional.
El entorno hace posible que se puedan realizar gran cantidad de actividades de turismo deportivo, como senderismo, montaña, esquí, pesca, btt, escalada, etc.
