General
Casa Esperanza is a restored traditional house in Ceresa, a small village nestled on a plateau above the Cinca River and at the foot of the Peña Montañesa.
It offers two independent and fully equipped apartments, each with capacity for 6 people:
La Brecha Apartment: 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, kitchen-dining room with double sofa bed, and 1 bathroom.
Cola de Caballo Apartment: 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, kitchen-dining room with double sofa bed, and 1 bathroom.
Outside, it has a spacious garden with a barbecue, tables, and chairs in a very pleasant outdoor area.
The house has excellent views of the Pyrenees. It is a very quiet place next to Peña Montañesa with many hiking possibilities, and it is close to the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park.
Activities
Ceresa is a small village with barely 35 inhabitants, belonging to the municipality of Laspuña, in the Sobrarbe region. It is nestled on a plateau above the Cinca River and at the foot of the Peña Montañesa, at an altitude of 900 meters — an unrivaled viewpoint over the Monte Perdido massif and the Ordesa National Park.
It is located very close to the entrance of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park through the Añisclo Valley. The other entrances to the National Park, such as the Pineta Valley and the Ordesa Valley, are also nearby.
In Laspuña, every May, the traditional *Descenso de Nabatas* down the Cinca River is held — a tradition that commemorates an old and lost profession, now revived by the people of Sobrarbe. This emblematic celebration has become a major tourist and social event that marks the spring calendar in these mountains.
In the surrounding area, you can enjoy numerous outdoor activities (hiking, rafting, horseback riding, canyoning…), discover beautiful places such as Aínsa (a historic-artistic site), Tella (with its dolmen and the route of the three hermitages), the Monastery of San Victorian, savor the local cuisine… or simply rest and enjoy the peace and quiet you’ll find in this corner of the Pyrenees.
