Gabasa is located on the banks of one of the ravines that give rise to the Sosa River.
The upper part of the population is an endoreic zone where there may have been a natural lagoon. Now what we find is a beautiful barranque that runs through lush vegetation. The conditions of humidity, temperature, the availability of water, and the shade that make up the mountains, make the vegetation very different from the one found in the rest of the Litera.
Hazel, oak, walnut, lemon, elms, a large carpet of horsetails are some species that we can find in the ravine. Not to mention the beautiful waterfall that decorates the route. A splendid green landscape unusual for the area. That’s why they call it the little paradise.
